जब object को किसी काम के करने की अनुमति या सहमती दी जाए तो वह let का प्रयोग करते हैं |
Let के साथ verb की first form का प्रयोग करते हैं |

मम्मी ने मुझे उससे बात करने दी |
Mammy has let me talk to him.

उसे जाने दो |
Let her go.

उसे बोलने दो |
Let him speak.

उसे बेईमान मत बनने दो |
Don’t let him be dishonest.

उसे मत जाने दो |
Don’t let her go.

दादाजी मुझे खेलने देते हैं |
Grandfather lets me play.           

में तुम्हे ऐसा करने नहीं दूंगा |
I don’t let you to do so.

क्या तुम्हारे parents तुम्हे पार्टी में जाने देंगे |
Will your parents let you go to the party?

पता नहीं मेरा boss मुझे एक दिन की छुट्टी लेने देगा या नहीं |
I don't know if my boss will let me take the day off.


जब हम let का प्रयोग करते हैं तो tense का प्रभाव सिर्फ let पर पड़ता हैं |

तुमने उसे जाने क्यों दिया |
Why did you let her go?

Past indefinite tense

कमल ने उसे जाने दिया |
Kamal let her go.

Present prefect tense

मम्मी ने मुझे उससे बात करने दी |
Mammy has let me talk to him.

Daily use sentences of let

दादाजी मुझे खेलने देते हैं |
Grandfather lets me play.           

में तुम्हे ऐसा करने नहीं दूंगा |
I don’t let you to do so.

मम्मी ने मुझे उससे बात करने दी |
Mammy has let me talk to him.

मैं तुम्हे उससे मिलने दे सकता हूँ |
I can let you meet him.

मैं तुम्हे एक condition पे जाने से सकता हूँ |
I can let you go in one condition.

मुझे पता है तेरा stretching से क्या मतलब है |

I know what you mean by stretching.
