Transferring the sentence that someone else says is called indirect speech. It is also called reported speech. Usually, it is used in spoken language. If the transmitted action is done in the past, the sentence becomes the past tense.

मेरे सर में दर्द था और तुम्हारे लिए घुमने जाना ज्यादा जरुरी था ?
I had headache and it was necessary for you to go on walk?
मैं तेरे घर गया था | वहाँ से पता चला कि तू यहाँ है |
I had been to your house. From there I came to know that you are here.
उसने इसे कहाँ छोड़ा |
where has he left it!
मैं कुछ दिनों बाद आऊंगा, तब तक तुम किसी से कुछ मत कहना |
I will come after a few days, till then don't tell anyone anything.

INDIRECT INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES

क्या वह सो गया ?
Did he sleep?
मैं कामयाबी की बुलंदी पे था |
I was at the peak of my success!
वही जो मैंने तुम्हें अभी दिए थे |
The one i just gave you
यह बहुत गहरा लग रहा है |
this seems to be very deep.

Interrogative sentences allow you to gather information and clear up confusion as well as engage in interesting conversations with others. It's also useful in writing as an organizational tool; for example, you can set up questions as headers and answer them to explain a concept in more detail in expository writing.

मैं उसे जो चाहूँ बुला सकता हूँ |
I can call her whatever I want.
किसी पर आँख बंद करके विश्वास करना सही नहीं है |
It's not good to trust someone so blindly!
हमें अभी तक पैसे नहीं मिले हैं |
we haven't got the money yet.
अगर पापा बीच में ना आते तो मैं उसे जान से मार देता |
I would have killed him, if Dad hadn't stopped me.

The flight must have landed early.

Question mark ? will not be used in indirect speech of interrogative sentence. . The verb 

अगर तुम्हारे भाई को यह पता चल गया तो |
What if your brother learns of this,
उसे तो बहुत पहले ही घर से बाहर निकाल देना चाहिए था |
We should've thrown him out of the house long back.
बताओ मुझे तुमने क्या पीया है ? बताओ मुझे |
Tell me what did you drink? Tell me.
तुमने मुझे शादी में भी नहीं बुलाया |
You didn't even invite me for the wedding.

Indirect question: Ich m;chte wissen, wie ich schnell Deutsch lerne. The subordinate clause, which is introduced by an interrogative, is often the object of the main clause. The subordinate clause

कोई पानी ले के आओ |
Someone get some water.
हर time बकवास मारता रहता हैं |
Talking rubbish all the time!
अपने चाय का आर्डर दिया था |
You had ordered for tea.
मुझे अच्छा लगा जिस तरह तुमने मुझसे बात की |
I liked the way you spoke to me!

Indirect interrogative clauses are often used to formulate questions especially politely: Ich m;chte gerne wissen, wann der Kurs beginnt. K;nnen Sie mir sagen, welcher Bus zur Sprachschule f;hrt?

ऐसा कुछ नहीं होगा |
Nothing of the sort will happen, sir.
जो तुम कह रहे हो सही है पर ये चोर नहीं है |
What you say is right but he isn't a thief.
मेरा सामान हॉस्टल से वापस ले आओ |
get my stuff back from the  hostel.
क्या कहते हो तुम ?
What do you say?

Indirect question: Ich m;chte wissen, wie ich schnell Deutsch lerne. The subordinate clause, which is introduced by an interrogative, is often the object of the main clause. The subordinate clause

मेरे पास तेरे लिए surprise है |
I've a surprise for you.
क्या तुम एक घंटे बाद आ सकते हो ?
Can you come after an hour?
यह तुम्हारी वजह हुआ है |
This happened because of you.
यह उनके हाथ नहीं लगनी चाहिए |
They shouldn't get their hands on it.

Interrogative sentences beginning with an auxiliary verb are changed into the indirect speech by using the connective if or whether. The reporting verb said or any other word used as the reporting verb changes to asked, queried, questioned, demanded of or enquired of in the indirect speech.

यह तुम्हारे दस्तखत नहीं है क्या ?
Isn't it your signature?
इसीलिए मैंने तुमसे झूठ बोला |
This is just why I lied to you.
मैं चला जाऊंगा क्योंकि तुम्हे अब मेरी जरुरत नहीं है |
I'll go because you don't need me any more.
सुनो यह मेरी तुम्हें last warning हैं |
Listen this is my last warning to you.

Try to recognize the difference between direct questions in interrogative form and indirect questions in declarative form. Direct question: Do you like coffee? This is an interrogative sentence, with the usual word order for direct questions: auxiliary verb  subject  main verb Indirect question: She asked me if I was hungry.

हम कहीं दूर चले जायेंगे जहाँ हमें कोई नहीं जानता हो |
We'll go far away. Where no one knows us.
मेरी दाई आँख अचानक फडकने लगी है | कुछ बुरा होने वाला है ?
My right eye has started twitching suddenly. Will something go wrong?
यह सपने सच होने जैसा है |
This is like a dream come true.
इसी लिए तो मैं तुम्हे काम पर रखना चाहता हूँ |
This is why I want to hire you.
