Dare का मतलब साहस या हिम्मत दिखाना होता है |

Dare का प्रयोग दोनों तरह से होता है | ordinary verb की तरह और helping verb की तरह |

जब हम dare का प्रयोग ordinary verb की तरह करते हैं तब हम present tense में singular subject के साथ s या es का प्रयोग करते हैं |

जब हम dare का प्रयोग ordinary verb की तरह करते हैं तब हम present tense में interrogative और negative sentences में do और does का प्रयोग करते हैं

क्या तुममे उसे सच कहने की हिम्मत है |
Do you dare to tell him the truth?

मेरी एक शब्द कहने की भी हिम्मत नहीं हुई |
I did not dare to say a word.

उसमें मुझे रोकने की हिम्मत नहीं थी |
He did not dare to stop me.

मुझे छूने की हिम्मत भी मत करना |
Don’t you dare to touch me.

Use of dare as helping verb

ज्यादातर Dare helping verb की तरह negative और interrogative sentences में use होता है |

Dare helping verb के साथ Interrogative and negative sentences में do और does helping verb का प्रयोग नहीं करते हैं |

और Dare के बाद अगर कोई infinitive use होता है तो infintive के साथ to नहीं लगा होता हैं |

क्या तुममे उसे सच कहने की हिम्मत है |
Dare you tell him the truth?

मुझे बीच में टोकने की तुम्हारी हिम्मत कैसे हुई |
How dare you interrupt me?

उसमें सच बोलने की हिम्मत नहीं है |

The verb dare is both a main verb and a semi-modal verb. It means to challenge someone to do something he/she is afraid of doing or to have the courage to do something. When it has the function as a modal verb, dare follows all the grammatical rules of modals. {See Can: Modals of Ability, A level}

तुम किसकी बात कर रहे हो ?
who were you talking of?
क्यों नहीं करने दोगे मुझे ? यह जगह क्या तुम्हारी है ?

Dare can mean achallenge somebodya. With this meaning, it is a main verb and requires an object. Any verb that follows it is in the to -infinitive: Go on, I dare you. Some snakes can bite but I

Thay have deceived you to get their sister married.
