Remember to turn the lights off. and verbs of saying: agree: promise: refuse: threaten: We agreed to meet at the cinema. Promise to call

The infinitive is the base form of a verb. In English, when we talk about the infinitive we are usually referring to the present infinitive, which is the most common. There are, however, four other forms of the infinititive: the perfect infinitive, the perfect continuous infinitive, the continuous infinitive,  the passive infinitive.

 

क्या किया तुमने ? मुझे लगता है तुमने उसे जान से मार दिया |

What have you done? l think you have killed him.

मुझे विश्वास है जितना तुम अभी कमाते हो उससे ज्यादा कमाओगे |

Infinitive is a grammatical term used to refer to certain verb forms that exist in many languages. As with many linguistic concepts, there is not a single definition applicable to all languages. The word is derived from Late Latin infinitivus, a derivative of infinitus meaning ;infinite;. Infinitives are used mostly as non-finite verbs.
